Plaques for the
Jasmine Memorial Track
Did you know that you can show your appreciation to your beloved horse
by buying him/her a name plaque to display on the boards of the Jasmine
track at the end of Bottom lane? You can do this at any time, and do not
have to wait until you best friend has gone to join all it's friends in
horsey-heaven. By buying a plaque, you will be able to ride the
local tracks with pride, knowing that you have made a valuable
contribution to the safety and well being of fellow riders and their
horses.
The Jasmine Safety Track
Trust aims to create safe off-road riding and, being a Trust, is
permitted to have assets. To date the Trust has purchased land and
established two permanent horse tracks, The Narrows in Chipperfield and
the Memorial Track at Bucks Hill. The Trust has also negotiated with
several local landowners and gained permission for horses to cross their
land on specified routes, for which an annual rental is paid by the
Trust.
All this for a £40 donation to the Jasmine trust.
